WebSep 16, 2024 · It seem compatible. Try it, if you think the files are compatible. The cinematic mod was made for HL2, with the code in mind for HL2. HL2VR has major work done to the files to make the game work and run. The Cinematic Mod code specific for HL2 that was changed for VR, would therefore not work with HL2VR.
